Write to the Prime Minister urging peaceful resolution of US/Iran crisis

Write to the Prime Minister to raise concerns about the recent extra-judicial killing of General Qasem Soleimani and several others in a US drone attack. This assassination has escalated tension with Iran and in the region, is illegal under international law.

Ask the Prime Minister to work to restore the Iran nuclear deal. It has been a vital instrument to ensure that Iran has not developed nuclear weapons. It is deeply concerning that President Trump withdrew from the deal last year, in spite of full Iranian compliance.

The withdrawal, fresh sanctions and a ramping up of the US military presence in the Middle East – together with the recent killings - all massively increase the risk of war.

Please urge the Prime Minister to use all his influence to urge a peaceful resolution of the current crisis.
