Investors worldwide are withdrawing from nuclear power as it becomes clear that it is economicaly unviable as well as inherently dangerous and dirty.
The government has recently announced additional spending to encourage new nuclear power developments but this is completely unnecssary.
There are significantly cheaper renewable alternatives for the consumer which are better for the environment. Investement should go into these fast developing new technologies instead of nuclear.
