Write to your MP about nuclear dangers
Our safety and democracy are being put at risk—without our knowledge or consent.
Evidence shows that deadly US nuclear weapons are to be stationed in Britain, at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk. Yet there has been no public announcement, no parliamentary debate, and no consultation with the communities who would be directly affected. Even more concerning, a declassified Ministry of Defence (MoD) document reveals that US forces have been granted exemptions from UK radiation safety laws—meaning local authorities won’t even be informed or required to plan for nuclear emergencies.
This is a dangerous breach of public trust and we have a right to know about the nuclear dangers that affect us.
We have a right to be heard.
Now is the time to act. Write to your MP. Demand answers. Call for transparency. Together, we can challenge this secrecy and stand up for safety, democracy, and accountability.
