Ask Boris Johnson to take action on nuclear disarmament

The nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference begins next month. The UK must demonstrate its support for the Treaty – which it signed in 1968 - by sending a high-level delegation to the conference.

It has played a major role in preventing proliferation; only a handful of countries have developed nuclear weapons since it entered into force. But the nuclear weapons states have retained, and are modernising, their arsenals. The UK, in replacing Trident, is a major culprit in failing to live up to its NPT obligations.</span></span></div>
