Meet your MP to discuss Syria airstrikes
In the early hours of Saturday 14 April 2018, the UK carried out airstrikes on Syria with the US and France, in response to an alleged chemical weapons attack by the Syrian regime.
The Prime Minister authorised UK involvement in these strikes without approval from Parliament, and in defiance of international law.
Working with partner organisations, CND is organising a lobbying of MPs in Westminster to highlight the extensive public oppostition to airstrikes on Syria. The lobby will take place on Wednesday 18 April from 13:00 - 16:00.
People across the country have expressed opposition to the UK Government's actions, and with Parliament back from recess, MPs need to know where the public stands. If you are able to meet your MP in Parliament please enter your postcode below to bring up a model request letter.
If you need any further assistance in advance of the meeting please email parliamentary@cnduk.org. Please also let us know if you are successful in setting up a meeting.
